start billing for a new client within two business days.
How long does it take
for you to process and bill out a claim for service?
The majority of claims received are processed and sent out within
two business days. All other claims vary depending on the information
needed, but typically they are sent out within six business days.
Do you accept electronic or paper Patient
Care Reports?
Yes, we have the capability to receive electronic and paper run reports.
Do you bill electronically or by paper?
We have the capability to send out electronic and paper claims.
Do you do consulting?
Yes.
What are your consulting fees?
Claims reimbursement consulting is included in our package the majority
of the time. We feel that one must be willing to present information
to the client in order to receive higher collections of accounts receivable.
Ultimately, it is up to the client whether they follow our suggestions.
Do you provide forms?
Generally, our clients use forms they are comfortable with, but we
do provide billing forms, run reports, and medical necessities, etc., to
our clients.
Do you provide customized forms?
Our forms can be customized very easily. In fact, we prefer to customize
them in order to make it easier for your staff and ours.
What kind of reports do you provide, and
how often?
Each client is provided with accounts receivable reports on a monthly
basis. Additionally, we are able to customize reports upon request.
Some of our reports include demographics by age, sex, chief complaint,
zip code calling party, and payer.
Do you provide training?
We provide training for the forms we provide. Additionally, we are
willing to assist in Patient Contact Report (PCR) writing.
Why dont you list any of your references?
Confidentiality of information must be maintained and most clients
do not want any information released.
Do you provide references?
Yes, but they are specific to each contract negotiation and will only
be provided upon our discretion.
What are your fees?
Fees are negotiable; however in fairness to our clients, we charge
a fee based on receivables collected.
Why do you charge based on amounts collected?
We feel it is unfair to charge a flat fee, or a percentage of gross
receivables. We feel that if there isnt any incentive to perform
follow-up on open accounts, most companies will only pursue the easy
accounts. To put it simply, if you dont receive any monies,
neither do we. |
